Our mission is to make Israel fundamental to the sacred lives and Jewish identity of Reform Jews. Rabbi David Stern, Senior Rabbi of Temple Emanu-El of Dallas, Texas, and president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, explains how his congregants connect deeply with the country, its people, and each other when traveling with us. “People do not connect to stones during a trip… people connect to people. We give our congregants complexity and dissonance – it’s one of my favorite things about Da’at. Things are not dumbed down.”

Repairing the world – Tikkun Olam – is a central value that shapes our travel experiences and programming. Through hands-on volunteering, opportunities to connect with disadvantaged populations, and ongoing dialogue to build relationships with “the other,” participants get to work together to make a difference.
